Overview
Vibrant Music Lab, a leading private music academy founded in early 2023, is dedicated to a student-centric philosophy of 'Love Before Learning.' I played a key role in developing their brand identity and establishing their online presence. My contributions included branding, designing marketing materials, and enhancing their digital footprint to reflect this unique educational philosophy.

Safe haven of warmth and energy
Recognizing that Vibrant Music Lab's focus extended beyond just education to include enjoyment and therapy, I undertook a redesign to better reflect its unique identity. The original design, while suitable for younger audiences, didn't convey the brand’s expressive and free-spirited nature. I explored several design iterations, initially incorporating music symbols and notes. Ultimately, I chose a more subtle approach by featuring a whole note in the "A" for a timeless and clean look. To capture the brand's vibrant and dynamic spirit, I opted for a multi-colored logo. This design choice, guided by color psychology, embodies excitement, warmth, and curiosity, aligning with Vibrant Music Lab’s commitment to a holistic and engaging musical experience.

Vibrant Music Lab faced challenges with user engagement and search engine visibility due to a content-heavy website that was difficult to navigate and visually overwhelming. To address these issues, I undertook a comprehensive UI/UX redesign focused on simplifying content presentation, improving visual appeal, and optimizing the site for SEO.

I established VML's social media account, outlining our social media marketing objectives, including enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating leads. I devised a plan to share updates on our students' progress and testimonials, offering valuable content for parents seeking enriching educational experiences for their children.
Marketing - Campaigns
Welcome Package
Our "Welcome Package" campaign was designed to boost brand awareness and attract new students for the upcoming school year, with a special focus on young children in the Inland Empire who need in-home lessons due to their busy family schedules. Through targeted Instagram and Google Ads, as well as our thriving referral program, we conveyed our core message: at Vibrant Music Lab, every lesson is customized to fit the unique pace and preferences of each student. To make new students feel instantly welcomed and valued, we crafted a personalized welcome package featuring a vibrant tote bag, letters from our CEO and instructors, a homework book, customized instruments, and fun stickers to help them personalize their musical journey from the very start. Additionally, we developed a content calendar to build excitement around the package, creating anticipation and giving new students something to look forward to once they joined the Vibrant Music Lab family.
Events
Harmonizing successes
VML hosted a recital event just four months post-launch, providing students the chance to showcase their skills before a live audience. I was responsible for branding the event, including art direction and creating a visual identity. This involved producing marketing materials such as flyers and social media graphics, designing branded t-shirts for performers and instructors, and setting up the event website for information and RSVPs/performer sign-ups. I also handled venue decoration and developed media kits to ensure a cohesive and professional presentation. This strategic approach not only highlighted the company's capabilities but also positioned us favorably with potential clients.
